Heya there, didn't want to give the impression that my life was pretty event-less in the last couple of years – because it totally wasn't! After I've made some rather important changes, I'm feeling very confident in myself right now. Well, comparatively. A small part of that was the realization that the people in my domain are surprisingly bad in the English language. In other words: I'm really good in English. I never really realized or acknowledged it – until now. (Well, until some time last year, when I actually did this).

I think it was around December 15th of last year that I finished creating the German subtitles (or captions) for the web show ExtraCreditz (sometimes written "ExtraCredits" or "Extra Credits"), namely episode S01E12, "Diversity". "Finished" meaning that, after a few weeks of writing, tweaking, letting proof-read, submitting, the day had come when my subtitles had been officially green-lit, uploaded and implemented. It took me relatively long because I only worked on it about an hour at a time, and because this was the first time I've done anything like it before. But to be honest, I've spent the most time in that tweaking phase … sometimes I'm such a perfectionist!
Anyway, no more words. Here's the result (please manually select the German captions; I can't link to them):
Extra Credits: Diversity
I'm only posting this now because I figured just now that this could be a news item on my blog. Bloep.
(Also, the web-design of this blog is horrible. Please excuse the situation but the groundwork – how I tweak-hacked Blogspot – was done years ago and now it's rather inflexible and outdated. I have to sit down and overhaul the whole blog, some day.)
